Once again, we here at Retranchement, near Sluis, the City of West to finish the year and begin another. Beyond the geographic permanence, there is the permanent human ... far more important.

This will be the seventeenth time in Retranchement, but there were also twice Brizon Westende five times and once Dormillouse. A total of 25 entries made it into the new year with the same people. Friends of course!

Casually, that's reassuring!
