The other night, I zap. It does almost never happens, but I feel like flipping without doing anything else. That's how I came across the broadcast of the Festival International du Cirque de Monte Carlo! I confess: it hooked me and I stopped to zap! Yet I am not really fond of the circus, but it was a good show for a night of carelessness! While watching this show, I remembered some articles I had read or traveled recently. They were unanimous: the circus is a very bad thing and it should be banned!
Most of these items related to animals. It is true that the life of a circus animal must not be as pleasant as it passes most of his time in a cage! Does this mean a plight? Of course, this is not the destiny for which it was intended (though)! But between "duty to defy nature every day to find food and escape predators "and" spend a day at home in a cage and eat what you bring, what is preferable? Freedom! Probably. How many people did they not also an unenviable fate, or even less? Moreover, these circus animals also experience the thrill of applause and laughter! Why are they not as sensitive as humans?
Other articles denounced even human numbers, at least those of high-flying. These would be to take unnecessary risks just for the pleasure of eyes! Unacceptable! Immersed in these reflections, I thought the spectacle was really nice. See the admiring glances of the spectators was a real delight.
