World with AFP: Mikhail Khodorkovsky transferred to Moscow for a new trial

former head of Russian oil group Yukos, Mikhail Khodorkovsky, detained in Siberia, was transferred to Moscow with his former partner Platon Lebedev to participate in a new trial due to open March 3, announced Tuesday, Feb. 24, the spokesman for the Moscow City Court.

Convicted in 2005 for tax evasion and fraud large-scale, Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Platon Lebedev, who are serving their sentence in Siberia near the Chinese border, will be tried again for "embezzlement", "embezzlement" and for "illegal financial transactions," according the floor.
