In an interview with the Chairman of Virgin Group, Richard Branson, his new Formula 1 team Virgin GP, which will begin in 2010, could accommodate a female pilot.
He allegedly approached the Améicaine star Danica Patrick, who declined instead. "I loved seeing drive a beauty like Danica (...) It is not only good and fast, it is superb. I think there's room for women in F1."
He also said: "We have great drivers, all four. I wanted four women pilots, but we have four of the most handsome men drivers. "
Remember, the designated drivers at the beginning of December 2009 are Timo Glock and Luca DiGrassi.
